VV Wrapped: Chasing 365 Days Active

Scottish rider Stuart Dick is a keen VeloViewer user and has kept us regularly updated with his infographic progress throughout the year as he chased his target of 365 active days.

We had a quick fire Q&A with Stuart to find out how he has stayed focus this year on the bike and tell us the story behind his VV Wrapped infographic.

VV: What are you most proud of from your VV Wrapped?

Stuart: Honestly, the consistency. It’s not just one big ride or headline stat, it’s the way the miles, elevation, and days on the bike stack up quietly over the year. VV Wrapped shows the story behind the riding, and I’m proud of how much of that happened outdoors, exploring local roads and trails, not just chasing numbers.

VV: Which of your stats were you most focused on in 2025?

Stuart: My main focus was cycling at least once every day of the year. Some days were big adventures, like Chase The Sun North, others were short spins, like my commute to work, but the aim was to keep the streak alive and make riding part of daily life, not just something saved for “good” days.

VV: What challenges did you face in the year?

Stuart: Time, balance, and energy. Juggling work, family life, and riding isn’t always easy, especially through winter and darker months. Some rides were about mental headspace rather than performance, getting out when motivation was low and reminding myself why I ride in the first place.

VV: Are there any riders or adventures that inspire you?

Stuart: It’s the cycling community as a whole. The people, the shared stories, and the everyday moments I see, both out on the road and through Instagram. Every ride has its own meaning, whether it’s a big adventure, a quiet solo spin, or someone simply showing up despite life being busy. That collective energy and connection is what keeps me motivated every day.

VV: Have you set yourself any targets for 2026?

Yes, but they’re experience led rather than number led. I want bigger, wilder adventures, more time on gravel, and events that push me outside my comfort zone. If the stats grow alongside that, great, but the priority is riding that leaves a mark long after the numbers are forgotten.
