World Record Performance Using VeloViewer

WorldTour app in use at the Race Across AmericaEndurance cyclists Colin O’Brady and Lucas Clarke smashed the world record for the Race Across America (RAAM) in pairs last week, and we’re delighted VeloViewer played a part in their success. Working with cycling coach Gary Hand from Espresso Cycle Coaching, the team used the VeloViewer WorldTour App to help reach the finish line in record time.

Welcome to Wrexham!

Last Friday I was proud to represent VeloViewer at the Women’s Tour of Britain Stage 2 in Wrexham together with our Communication Consultant, Lucy. After an early start from Sheffield across the Peak District and over the border into Wales, a wrong turn and some very understanding marshalls, we were finally directed to park in the same car park just as the team coaches/cars started to turn up.

Race Recon with Remco

One of our 2023 highlights – the legend that is Remco Evenepoel showing us how the pro riders use the VeloViewer WorldTour package for race prep.
Four glorious minutes of Remco preparing for the first mountain stage of La Vuelta 2023. Teams highlight the technical sections, intermediate sprints, gradient changes and much more. This info helps riders to identify key strategic attacking opportunities.


About the VeloViewer WorldTour Package

As well as the public facing side of VeloViewer which lets us mere mortals view all of our Strava activity history and segment info in lots of engaging and motivational ways, there is also a package offered to the top level men’s and women’s professional cycling teams to help the staff and riders prepare effectively for their races and provide real-time info on the courses during the races themselves.  It is currently being used all men’s and women’s WorldTeams along with many ProTeams, Continental, domestic and National teams and also the UK Police and a number of race organisers.


Back in 2015 I heard that the classic VeloViewer 3D profiles were being used by a number of WorldTour team DS’s for race briefings including at Team Sky. For the 2016 season VeloViewer became an Official Supplier to Team Sky as I worked closely with their DS’s to build up the beginnings of my WorldTour package. Continue reading
