Currently we have a number of TV broadcasters that have access to the VeloViewer WorldTour package. The key usage is as follows:
- Pre-race preparation to help prepare notes for each stage.
- Graphics/maps/StreetView for pre and post race analysis.
- View of race route during the race to help commentators tell the story of the upcoming parcour to their viewers to enhance their broadcast.
We only share the routes with these organisations if the race organiser has given us permission. The standard approach we’ve had with organisers using VeloViewer is to ask to provide the race routes to these media organisations 2 weeks ahead of the race start to give the commentators and graphics teams enough time to prepare.
