Post Route Reflections With Anna

It’s three weeks since VeloViewer’s Anna finished The Route event in aid of Cure Leukaemia, conquering all nine stages of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. During this time they tackled over 1175 km of riding and 18,795 meters of vertical climbing. To date this incredible crew of 19 riders have smashed their fundraising target of £250K.

While their combined efforts will make a profound difference in the lives of so many patients, they’ve also gained priceless memories and lifelong friendships along the way.

Tiling Tales: Chasing Tiles in Arctic Conditions

To maintain his impressive five-year cycling streak, Pekka regularly battles sub-arctic conditions on his bike. As a true tiling puritan, he only rides outdoors—and with February temperatures plummeting to -30°C, his journey is a masterclass in dedication and determination.

After following his adventures on Instagram and YouTube, we wanted to delve deeper into his backstory and how he conquers these extreme temperatures and challenging terrain. Who knows, his story may even inspire a few of you to head to Finland for Pekka’s favourite ultra event, Ruska – be warned though, his tales come with words of caution!
