Following VeloViewer’s first year of partnership with AIOCC, we were delighted to attend the General Assembly in Copenhagen last week to meet with partners and race organisers. The event was a culmination of the 2025 cycling season, reviewing the successes of the year and challenges of 2026.

During the 2025 racing season we have forged new working relationships with race organisers globally via our AIOCC contract, providing the WorldTour package to improve safety and logistics.
As part of this we connected with the Race Manager of the Czech Tour, Martin Kolář, who used VeloViewer to support the four day race which ran in August. Following the event, we were thrilled to hear how VeloViewer played such an integral role in the event and levelled up safety.

In May we announced we were supporting entrepreneur and bestselling Author Alvaro Nuñez in his Race Across America (RAAM) attempt, and we are delighted to report he recently completed this extreme event in 11 days, 23 hours and 3 minutes.
This is a phenomenal achievement, and the story of the dedication which went into this endurance ride is inspiring. We were keen to go behind the scenes and hear about the highs and lows of taking on the RAAM, and what drove Alvaro to push through this gruelling challenge and complete his mission.
Driven by the motivation to finish the RAAM in under 12 days, Alvaro pushed himself to the extreme which, as he explains, involved strength both mentally and physically.
Ben recently connected with legendary lead out man Michael Mørkøv, and took the opportunity to find out more about his career and use of VeloViewer. It is always fascinating to get the view from a rider as to how VeloViewer has changed the logistics of racing, and how it is integrated into team and race organisers’ planning systems.
Can you tell us the background to your cycling career and highlights?
I started off as a track cyclist and grew up on the boards (ed: Velodrome) and I won Worlds and World Cup medals, going on to win Olympic medals. I then turned professional on the road starting with Saxo Bank, the former CSC team. There the main focus was to participate in the Tour de France and be optimistic for the GC riders. I then moved to Katusha and Quick Step where I took on the role as lead out man for the best sprinters of the time. As a result I combined road and track cycling for many years. Continue reading

From single day classics to Grand Tours, VeloViewer technology is playing a crucial role in race planning courtesy of the new contract with The Association Internationale des Organisateurs de Courses Cyclistes (AIOCC).
VeloViewer’s partnership with AIOCC means all members will now have access to the WorldTour App including all three Grand Tours, 34 UCI WorldTour events and 22 women’s races. The VeloViewer tools within the WorldTour package are designed to ensure a safer season, improving logistics and coordination for Race Organisers.
