AIOCC agreement for the 2025 season

AIOCC logoNew for the 2025 race season, we are delighted to announce a partnership with The Association Internationale des Organisateurs de Courses Cyclistes (AIOCC), which represents the interests of cycling event organisers worldwide. Courtesy of AIOCC, race organisers, including the three Grand Tours, 34 UCI WorldTour events, and 22 women’s events, will have access to the VeloViewer WorldTour tools, already used by pro teams.

VeloViewer Director, Ben Lowe, attended the AIOCC General Assembly in Riva del Garda, Italy, along with 86 members where Christian Prudhomme, AIOCC President, mapped out the priorities for the organisation in 2025. As part of this, AIOCC announced the VeloViewer World Tour package will be accessible to organisers, providing a digital solution to optimise race  safety and logistics.

“Top of our agenda is to give race organisers access to the best technologies to run races efficiently and safely. We know teams already use the platform successfully and are excited to provide access to VeloViewer, so everyone is working from the same information in the planning for events, and on race day. We are proud to be able to deliver the VeloViewer WorldTour package for the upcoming season and are confident it is a solution race organisers will find very useful.” said Kiko Garcia, Director General, AIOCC.

The VeloViewer WorldTour package’s bespoke features enhance preparation and race day intelligence enabling Race Organisers to:

  • Augment race routes by highlighting obstacles and dangers along with other race information to share with teams.
  • See in real-time the upcoming route, hazards and possible cross-winds to assist Race Radio and Regulators to inform and manage the race convoy.
  • View real-time locations of race organisation vehicles during races.
  • Highlight unforeseen dangers and emergencies quickly during a race, sharing the information immediately with other race staff and teams.

Race organisers will begin to use the VeloViewer tools in preparation for the season ahead, and will receive a series of tutorials to understand how to fully maximise the WorldTour package.
