Last Friday I was proud to represent VeloViewer at the Women’s Tour of Britain Stage 2 in Wrexham together with our Communication Consultant, Lucy. After an early start from Sheffield across the Peak District and over the border into Wales, a wrong turn and some very understanding marshalls, we were finally directed to park in the same car park just as the team coaches/cars started to turn up.

Reflections on Camp Strava

This was the 2nd Camp Strava I’ve attended and it never fails to deliver on lots of fronts.

As ever, it was great to connect with the Strava team who are so supportive of VeloViewer. I enjoyed chatting to their new CEO Mike Martin and hearing more about his vision for the future.

VeloViewer x Velon Collaboration

VeloViewer announces a new collaboration with Velon to bring real-time rider race data to the VeloViewer Live App, used by women’s and men’s professional teams, for enhanced rider safety and performance.

The partnership will allow the integration of Velon’s cutting-edge technology during races including the Giro d’Italia, Tour of Norway and Tour de Suisse, and in future races where Velon’s live rider data system is being used, providing teams with invaluable insights of their own riders alongside VeloViewer’s course data, all within one interface.

Update to Detailed VeloViewer Explorer Tile Ticking

A post at the geekier end of the spectrum as a couple of small changes to the VeloViewer Explorer Tile calculations are rolled out to fine tune some of those edge-case scenarios where tiles might have been missed.  One key area was addressing the very rare occasions where your GPS device didn’t record a point in the required spot as your route crossed the very corner of a tile – the good news is this should now be sorted.

It’s that time of year again – we are so excited to see people creating & sharing their own VeloViewer year wrapped!

I’ve enjoyed playing around with the new colour ways and think I’ve found my favourite.  Great to see so many people staying faithful to the original VV black & red too.
